The customs product identifiers m_pid, ns_pid and s_pid on objects in the customs.goods array are now also supported for PostNord and Bring, and are passed on to the carrier.

A new optional attribute is now supported on shipments booked with DSV Road products. It is declared through the existing attributes arrays:

• pallet_places (parcel level) - accepts up to two decimals (e.g. 0.25 for a quarter pallet). Values are summed across all parcels and sent to DSV as a single number. For parcels where no 'pallet_places' is indicated, the default value of 1 per colli is used, which is how it has been calculated in the past. Parcels with more than one quantity act as a multiplier for the indicated 'pallet_places', meaning that the below example would result in a total of 3.0.

Four new optional attributes entries are now supported on shipments booked with DACHSER products. They are declared through the existing attributes arrays:

• order_group (shipment level) - free text.
• goods_group and goods_group_quantity (parcel level) - these two belong together. If only one of them is given on a parcel, the shipment is rejected with an error naming the missing field.
• pallet_places (parcel level) - accepts up to two decimals (e.g. 0.25 for a quarter pallet). Values are summed across all parcels and sent to DACHSER as a single number. If no parcel declares the attribute, nothing is sent - so declare 0 explicitly if you want to report zero pallet places.

DACHSER expects specific values in goods_group and order_group - agree these with DACHSER, as Shipmondo does not validate them.

We have introduced a new field called additional_reference for shipments.

additional_reference allows you to specify a secondary reference when creating a shipment. This field is optional and can be used to provide additional information or identification for your shipment.

The additional_reference field is introduced at every endpoint relevant to shipments. For more details, please refer to the API Reference.

Note: Unlike reference, additional_reference is not guaranteed to be printed on the label.

We have introduced a new parcel field called stackable for shipments. As of now, this field is relevant for those booking DHL Freight Sweden shipments with the following product codes:

DHLFSE_HDR

stackable allows you to specify whether an individual parcel can be stacked, providing more flexibility and efficiency in handling your shipments. stackable defaults to true if not specified.

The stackable field is introduced at every endpoint relevant to shipments. For more details, please refer to the API documentation.

Carrier setup files now include a new field, service_point_product, which indicates whether a product is a service point product or not. Read the full guide on how to retrieve and use the carrier setup file here.

A new API endpoint has been introduced, enabling users to retrieve a comprehensive file containing the full list of your available carriers, products and services.

Shipmondo now supports IOSS (Import One Stop Shop). It is currently supported on shipments with Bring, DHL Express, DSV XPress, FedEx and UPS.

Use the service code IOSS when booking a shipment to use it.

You can register your IOSS number under Company information

To extend the possibilities of using DSV XPress, pickup will no longer be automatically booked.

From 2024-09-10 it will be required to include the service code PICKUP if you wish to book pickup with your DSV XPress shipments.
